Tender turkey meatballs are simmered in rich marinara sauce for classic Italian-American comfort food. The lean ground turkey creates lighter meatballs while maintaining all the traditional flavors families love, perfect over pasta or in submarine sandwiches.
Meatball Preparation: Soak breadcrumbs in milk until absorbed. Combine all meatball ingredients gently. Form into golf ball-sized portions. Chill 30 minutes to firm up.
Sauce Development: Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, wine, herbs. Simmer 30 minutes until thick.
Cooking Process: Brown meatballs in batches. Add to simmering sauce. Cook 25-30 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Serving: Over pasta with additional Parmesan
